Kengi's first mission with Zati

Kengi stood at the village gate talking with the princess very casually he had gotten there like 10 miuets after he left the hokages office he had a bag paced for missions like this. kengi and the princess talked the entire time " so when the steel disk was about to hit Falicia i jumped in and sliced it in to 2 peic....." he stopped as he saw Falicia walk up giving him an acid look

"You certainly work fast!" Falicia said banging him on the head, she had a pack full and ready with some medical supplies her mother had packed and her tachi strapped to her side.

Zati walked up in his black siute and boots, he always left his white and blue robes at home for traveling missions like this. all he had now as a black shirt over body armor and his scroll and sword. He bowed to Danto and said, "If I may i would like a word with my students." he said as Vaner wlaked up behind him, a pack ready and his chain blade on his back.

Danto nodded and took the princes away a few feet out of ear shot.

"Now i speak mainly ot hte boys here when i say, don't do anything stupid." he siad looking directly at Kenji.

Kenji rubbed teh back of his head from were Falicia hit him " i have
know idea wat your talking about sensei" kenji said this inecently

"Don't play dumb with me. I'm sirious if you screw this up, or screw anything on this trip you will be doing babysitting misisons for a year." Zati said sternly. Vaner looked nervous, and Falicia snicered. He nodded and walked over to Danto.

"so just to be clear you are hiring us for general protection agaisnt normal bandits correct?" Zati said kindly.

"Yes."

"Alrihgt, team diamond formation Vener take point I'll take the rear and Kenji and Falicia the sides, we move west."

kenji was alraedy enjoying his time out of the village but he was also paying attention too he saw a bush move and he instently got closer to the princess with his sword drwn but it was nothing "woops my mistake " so they kept watching after about 3 hours of walking he heared another rustleing in the bush this time he knew it was the real deal he was next to her in a flash he saw a kuni fly towards her he caught it and then spun around and threw it back the way it came " they are here" kenji said to the others

Vaner had already detected the people near by with his ability and signaled Sensei with a toch to his sword. there was only one with a developed chakra system and the others where just normal bandits.

Zati had a dragon searching the area around them. Zati Bent down and slamed his hand on hte ground. a steel cacoon surrounded the princes and Donto with small air holes around it. "you will be safe in there." Danto thakned him and said get to work. Zati smirked and took out his sowrd.

Falicia protect them. two bandits charged at them. Zati shot chakra strings out of hands and they wraped around the bandits legs and yanked their feet out from under them. "Don't kill all of them, take out hte one with a chakra signature!" Zati called out ot hte team. he wrapped the two in steel bars and went after another one. their wher ten in all.

kenji rushed up to the rouge ninja and slashed upward quickly it was blocked Kenji ducked under a high kick then the rouge followed through with a combination of quick punches and kicks kenji blocked every one of them but then the ninja created 3 clones that were solid then kenji had trouble blocking and dodging the attacks kenji let one attackk through it connected to his face kenji used the momentum of the blow to knock him back while falling kenji performed som hand signs fire style fire ball jutsu kenji sent a fire ball straight at the ninja but he didnt stop there just in case it didnt work he drew his blade and leaped straight at the ninja after the fireball exploded and kenji stabed him through the chest " with out a second thought" kenji said reminding himself of what he had said to the hokage

Zati watched surprised as his student destroyed the ninja. He smiled proudly then went on ot taking out hte rest of hte enemy along with Venar and Falicia. they ahd taken out three others and Zati had taken out five. he tied up the last one and released the cacoon around the protecties. "are you alright princess, lord Danto/" he asked kindly.

"Yes, thank you." Danto said a little shaken.

He bent down and looked at the bandit. "who sent you guys?" he asked shwoing his fingernails, he had had gloves on before but he remomved them now to reveal the silver tips gleaming wet with poison.

kenji knew that the only way for them to have found the princess was for someone to hjhave told them


the bandit looked up at teh oldest ninja "like im going to tell you" i dont give away info for free"

Zati sighed and took out a senbon. "I can be a kind man sir, but if you make me angry i can be a very demented ass." He said jamming the senbon into the mans thigh so that not even the tip showed. "Now the next one makes sure that you have no children, want ot answer that question again?"

kenji looked at the bandit and winced "dude id tell him he shot his own students with those things imagine wat he would do to some one he doesnt like"

"all right ill talk but ill want some compensation first"

"I'll forge you a Kunai to cut yourself free with before the wild animals coem out ot eat, how's that?" Zati asked in a kind voice. "i have no mercy for those that hurt my friends students or cliants. but i am a fair man."

kengi looked at the man with a kind face "and ill throw in some food pills"

the bandit looked back and forth to each of them apparently this was the best offer he was going to get "fine the person who gave us the job wa...." his words were cut short as an assasins kuni peirced his throut and killed him instently

kengi spun around and looked at the aproximate area from were it came from then he jumped towards the assasin with out pause

Zati cursed himself for getting distracted and slammed his hand down on the ground. "Steel forest technique uniscapable prison!" the forest around htem turned into a forest of steel trees. they closed in aroudn Kenji and the assasin. Zati jumped inot it and threw kenji out. he was face to face with a man in an anbu mask. "who are you?" he asked steel starting ot ocver his entire body, he was moving into the full form of the steel fist.

"damnit" kengi said and he slamed his fist against the steel tree but then he went back to were the princess was so he could gaurd her

the anbu said nothing

Zati nodded, he didn't expect him to so willingly give away anything. he wore a mask with a slashed Kiri symbol on it. this won't be easy, i havn't done a high ranked mission in ages, but i must prevail. he thought as he pulled his sword and sunk into the steel tree he was standing on. he came up behind the anbu ten meters behind him.

Fire Release: Ash Pile Burning. he thought activatingthe jutsu with a single hand sign. Molten ash spewed from his lips at the enemy.

the ninja performend hand signs so quickly the were barly risible as soon as he finished it rained and washed the hot ash out of teh air around him then the ninja charged towards zati and drew a weapon made not of steel but of iron the ninja struck down with the blade then kicked out with his left leg

Zati was uneffected by the kick as his body was covered in steel. he tried to bend or melt the metal but it was made of iron rather then steel and he couldnt. damn guess that doesn't work, keeping up the steel tree forest is starting to drain me, must work fast. he thought moving with envigorating speed. ah yes, now i remember why i became a shinobi. he thought as he jabbed his sword out at the enemy.

he brought his other hand out in a wide swing raking his claws across the enemys arms enjecting paralitic poison into the wounds.

the ninja noticed the poison instently he took his blade and cut off teh infected arm to keep the blood from spreading the poison then his hand heated up and he burned the wound to keep it from bleeding any more he charged back at zati even though it was an obviously hopless situation but he kept attacking any way

Zati was surprised by the relentlisness, i need him alive, he probably has a sianide tablit but lets try, He thought as he formed his hands into the ram sign. the blade of his sword turned into fifty shuriken all attached ot chakra strings that started wraping up the assailents body. "now tell me who sent you!" he demanded ripping off the mask to make sure he didn't swallow anything.

with his one hand the ninja made a hand sign "your too late" the ninja said before he exploded himself


as zati was fighting the shinobi with the mask the genin were fight many enemies some ninja some not but there were alot of them kenji had taken out at least 20 while Vanner was fighting some he had taken out like 12 of them but Falicia was having trouble she didnt seem to want to hurt any of them but they definetly wanted to hurt her so kenji was having to fight of the guys attacking him while defending the princess while assisting Falicia fight and he was getting tired as he ducked under neath a hook punch he blocked a low kick from a nother guy wile geting stabed by a thrown kenji made some hand signs Water clone jutsu 2 water clones formed he did want to risk running out of chakra right now that would get every one killed the clones were able to fight for a little wile but they were taken out fairly quickly he jumped back to stop a bandit from killing the princess but as soon as his feet left the ground he heared Falicia scream and he saw her get stabed in the back kenji killed the bandit but he couldnt leave to rescue falicia because there was a ninja in the way. now kenji leaped at the ninja witch his kodachi absorbing the shinobis lightning chakra then slashing down at him but the ninja was stronger then the rest and he dodged it and shot a kuni at kenji who caught it by the blade cuting his hand but he threw it back at the ninja and wile the ninja was dodging it kengi performed hand signs" Fire style fire ball jutsu" the ninja was hit by the fire ball but didnt go down instead he threw a barage of shiriken at kengi witch kengi blocked and dodged
at this point falicia was still alive "Faaaliiiciaaaa!!" kengi charged at the ninja who tried to slash down at kenji but kengi caught the blade on his left forearm and stabed straight through the ninjas heart as kenji droped his sword to run to save falicia the man attacking her held her up by the neck and stabed straight through her heart and it felt like time froze.

Zati heard his studnet's scream he whipped aroudn to see Falicia stabbed in the heart. "No!" He roared his hands twitched to his back and the full sized twenty foot dragon puppet apeared. the electric generator kicked into life. out of one nozel lightining shot out, the other fire and the third poison gass. it elmiinated the last of the enemy.

as his dragon did htat he ran down to his student and heated up his fist in a last stich effort to save her he seald the wound with the heated metal and started to effortlessly to re start her heart. it was too late.

tears streamed down his face. no no no not again! he thought as he cried over the body. Venar was near a bush puking and the princess was huddled up to her guardian, Danto bowed his head in respect. "Damn it!" he yelled at the top of his lungs.

kengi couldnt move he couldnt move because he knew it was all his fault she was dead it was all his fault if he had been stronger he could have protected her if he had been stronger he could have beten that ninja faster and saved her it was definatly his fault because it was his stubburness that they were on the mission in the first place he fell down onto his knees and stared at the ground then after a while ice crystals apeared around him but nothing ever froze he slamed his fist onto the ground so hard that it broke the bones in hhis hand after a while longer he stood up and lifted up the Falicias body and headed back to the village slowly

Zati saw his student moving and knew the look in his eyes. he had had the sme look in his eye's years ago. He knew he would need time and distance to heal, and if that didn't work Zati knew he would have ot be talked to after three days or Kenji would follow a path that was not meant for a shinobi ot go odwn.

Zati walked silently behind his student back to hte village. he turned ot Danto, "I am sorry, we cannot continue this mission. i should have never let us acept this mission. come with us back ot hte village and we will get you a team more qualified."

Danto nodded and walked silently behind them.

kengi heard wat Zati said " no zati sensei u finish the mission you cant take them and travle under ground with them u can make it way faster that way" kengis voice was worse than monotoned and if you can only take one then send take the princess "
