Missions

[this is were ninja shall request missons from the hokage]

Kenji stood up waiting for his team to arive he was allways the first one to arive they were getting there first mission he hoped it wasnt boring

Zati had arrived with Kenji, it had been three weeks since the team had formed. he ddin't need ot observe their interaction too distantly any more for htem to act naturally together. Kenji had begun ot make progress in sowrdsmanship under Zati's tutalige and the other's seemed anxious ot pick up the skill as well so Zati had forged them all special weapons.

Falicia's was a special tachi that was able to help her detect other chakra's by heating up slightly as htey got closer and Vaner's was a special type of blade known as a chain plade that acted both as a whip and a sword. "so since you are the first here which mission do you wnat to go on, baby sit the fire dymyo's son or take a shipment of goods to Kurakara town?" Zati asked kindly.

kenji looked at the pile of scrolls carefully only those 2 were opened he saw a scroll with a c rank on it and he made a quick grab for it he opened it and read it " i think that those are both a waste of our skills i think we should do this one go and escort a princess over to here" kenji said happily "well then its settled lets get going" kenji turned and started to walk out the door

Zati sighed, at least he is confadent. he thought as he turned and whaked him on the back of the head and used a steel whire in his cloak ot grab the scroll and bring it back ot him. "While i agree with you that you are a team of highly skilled shinobi, we are a raw team and missions such as helping merchants and babysitting though every shinobi hates htem at first, do hold value, both in team building and preparing shinobi for real life as a ninja." Zati placed the scroll back on hte desk and appoligized ot hte hokage. "if you want ot travel on your first mission we can take hte merchant one, and you should be glad hat the hokage is offering us this one in hte first place."

Falicia sighed at Kenji but smiled and wnked a second after. Vaner just snikkered at Kenji getting hit for the tenth tiem this morning for acting too over his rank.

" but it has nothing to do with wanting to travel its that im better qualified then most other ninja for that mission" because of my People skills the princess is my age so she will trust me better then someone older or younger than her and if she trusts me more then she will be easier to protect" kenji said this knowing it would make perfect sence

Zati was about ot retort that there wher other teams with members just as old as he was but hte Hokage stood up. he was old but not od enough ot be taken lightly . he was a strong and imposing amn with a strong build and an even harder gaze. he waked around his desk and stood infront of the team of young swordsmen. he looked Kenji right in the eye and said "Kenji Sabatou. i have watched you grow up inot a very strong young man, with a good heart and a quick tounge." he looked at hte other team members and saw courage in their eyes, "do you honestly think you are ready for this? if a man comes to attack this princess will you be ready to kill that man, and watch hte lights of life leave his eyes, do you really think you could do that to some one?"

kenji looked straight back into the hokages eyes without flinching then kenji said with a dead pan seariousness " without second thought" but then as everyone started to look worried kenji smilled "but i doubt i will have towe have the teach here to do most of the dirty work for us its still only a c rank mission he could probly do it bye himself"

he may have been calm on the outside but Zati could feel fear rolling from at teh Hokage's words. good, boht he and the Hokage thought. "Well then, you have the mission. on one condition." The Hokage said sternly. "If you fail the only missions you get for a month are D-ranks no exceptions." he said

Zati groaned inside, even though he knew they more then likely wouldn't fail, he still hated D-ranks, and teaching during those menat a month of boring assignments. "Done," Zati said kindly taking the scroll.

"Good, Idaku, send in the princess and her guardian."

kenji grinned towards the other two then looked towards the door and waited for the princes to come in

a beutiful young maiden in a long flowing pink kimono with acherry blossom tree desing and silver blonde hair wlaked into the room. behind her a man of about thirty, he wore simple robes but had a strong build. "Hello," he said bowing to the hokage then to Zati. "I am Danto, and this is Princess Ananaki of hte land of pirds."

"i am Zati Kenpan, Jounin of Konoha, these are my students, Kenji, Falicia and Vaner. we will be your escorts back home."

Danto looked a little shocked, "Excuse me but arn't they just kids?" he asked nervously.

"They may seem like children but they are highly trained warriors no matter their age. and if they should falter i have been doing this for years and am a master of my technique, you have no need ot fear we will defend you with our lives."

"Well i hope so, meet us at the gate in half an hour please." with that he turned and left hte room. the princess lingered a little looking in kenji's direction, a fan over her face to hide her expression. with a light airy gigle she left the room

kengi smiled " I told you" all right lets grab our gear and go kenji walked off he allready had his stuff packed

Zati arrived in the Hokage's office with his two man team, Vaner stood solem and silent. ever sicne the death of Falicia he had become a lot less hyper active3 and he had started to train even harder. "Lord Hokage, team one requests another mission after four weeks on mourning leave we are ready to return ot active duty."

kengi walked through the door to the hokages office late again but he didnt apologize he didnt say a word to anybody he just stood there and listened

"you will go on boarder patrol for the next week and a half on the west boarder of the land of fire." The Hokage siad tossing Zati the scroll. "defend the boarder and if any one tries ot enter iwthout papers or permission arrest them on site." the Hokage said then dissmised them.

it was a realativly easy assignment and calm enough to allow the team to get back togetehr and collect themselves after their last failed mission. Zati accepted with understanding and ushered the two boys out of hte room.

kenji approched the hokage "lord hokage humbly requestt a high rank mission with my new sensei i dont trust him yet and i think it would be good if we went out on a dangerous mission together that might help" kenji said this half truthfullly because going out on the mission would help him but only to the extent of him knowing what jutsu to request that his sensei teach him because kenji was going to try to turn one of his lightning jutsu into a darkness jutsu and for that he needed to know how to do the jutsu

Soku entered the tower with feng walking next to him. "you called Hokage sama?" he asked kindly bowing.

"your student has requested the two of you go on a high C-Rank together, what is your opinoin."

Soku thought for a moment and nodded. "i will accept what ever judgment his lord may pass."

the Hokage nodded and handed him an assasination scroll. "that should be a good bonding expirience for the both of you, you are to kill Gato as requested by the land of waves.

"all right that should be fun " kenji said with a smile he should definatly seea strong quick jutsu with this kind of mission
"all right lets leave now all right"

Soku jumped on feng's back and looked over his shou,lder, "race you to the gates." he said as the tiger jumped out of the window onto an adjacent roof.

"cheatr" kenji yelled " travel wolf summoning " a larger then normal wolf apeared (a little bigger than an adult lion ) kenji jumped on its back and it raced off faster then kenji ever thought it could run he was there within less then a minuet "nice job " but kenji didnt release him he new he was probly gonna ride him to the land of waves
